May your will be one with the LORD's,
That the forces of Hell flee from you;
May your prayers be tied with the Saints',
That the Holy Dead intercede for you;
May those who have fallen asleep
Receive their succor in prayer from you,
That death may lose its sting,
The night forfeit all fear for you.
